NAAWA’s outreach to representatives program is based on the criticality of the advocacy for Arab Americans and their status and interest as a community. This includes activities such as speaking to the U.S. Representatives in Congress regarding issues specific to our community on both the federal and local levels. Joining this program involves staying up to date on local events and policies, such as those affecting our schools, as well as state and federal legislation. Members will also reach out to representatives to advocate for Arab Americans as new bills are proposed.
