Rania A. Razek – an Artist/Photographer and world traveler, with a multi-cultural family of Middle-Eastern roots. She began her freelance photography career soon after receiving her B.A. degree in Visual Media Communications from the American University in Washington, D.C., where she also received her Master’s Degree in Film and Video Production, after working in television production for the ANA (Arab Network of America)/MBC (Middle-East Broadcasting Channel).

 

Ms. Razek is a celebrated Arab American female artist with over 25 exhibitions internationally, including global award recognitions. Has over two decades of professional work experience internationally in the United States of America and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Has assessed and supervised international VIP projects with the British Council in Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, including attendee HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York.

 

Ms. Razek has over 15 years of teaching experience, teaching theoretical and technical skills in photography, video editing and other design softwares. She has taught in the DC metropolitan area and spent several years at Dar Al-Hekma University, a women’s private university in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Created the first women’s photo club in Saudi Arabia, was involved in the curriculum assessment for the Photography diploma at Dar Al-Hekma University and other institutions. Directed and supervised media projects with her students in creating videos to promote public awareness of Middle–Eastern women’s interests that broadcast in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, on Al-Aan TV.

 

She has over 35 books and magazines publications in multiple countries. She continues to curate and serves as a liaison for several international students’ exhibitions, acting as a cultural bridge, and promoting artistic expression.
