We invite you to take part in our annual celebration of International Women’s Day! Join us for an hour-long event featuring MC Ameera David of WXYZ Detroit, and live entertainment by Elise Azkoul, singer/recording artist and contestant from NBC’s The Voice, and renowned Syrian singer Badya Hasan. Our speakers include U.S. Representative Rashida Tlaib; U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar; Founder of Women for Women International and Iraqi women’s rights activist Zainab Salibi; international corporate attorney Lina Hadid; motivational leader, lawyer, writer, and travel influencer Dr. Pearlette Ramos; Founder and Executive Director of RepresentWomen, Cynthia Terrell; and Maysoon Zayid, a Palestinian-American actress and comedian who is known as one of America’s first Muslim women comedians.
