General Assembly Meeting & Elections

The Most Important Item on the Agenda will be the ELECTIONS.


We will be following the procedure documented in our Bylaws. You can find a copy of the Bylaws on NAAWA’s web page (NAAWA.org). 


We strongly encourage you to attend and invite your friends. If they are not members you may encourage them to join, otherwise they are welcome to attend but cannot vote.


The first requirement for you to vote and/ or to run for the Board is to be a member in good standing.  


OUR TREASURER REQUESTS THAT ALL MEMBERS NEED TO PAY THEIR DUES.  

IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RUN AND VOTE YOU HAVE TO PAY YOUR MEMBERSHIP DUES NO LATER THAN FRIDAY OCTOBER 26.   

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE IS $50. 


For those who would like to nominate themselves or be nominated by another member, we require that you prepare a brief CV/paragraph introducing yourself and how you can benefit NAAWA.


Deadline for receiving nominations along with CVs IS WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 31st.

 

Once we receive the candidates’ information, we will circulate them to our members so they will have the chance to decide on who to elect. In addition, candidates will be given few minutes to present their ideas during the event.

 

Lunch will be served:

Members : Free

Non-members : $30
